Legalization

The legalization of documents is their certification at the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).

The legalization process involves the certification of the documents by various state institutions (e.g. ministries, notaries, etc.) and the last certifying institution in Bulgaria is the Consulate Directorate at the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The documents subject of legalization are translated by translators who have been approved in advance by the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and who work with translation agencies that have concluded contracts for such services with MFA. STEK EOOD works under contract No. 1113/2006 and currently under contract No. 1986/2013.

As the certifying institutions are located in Sofia, we provide our customers with the translation of the documents that have to be legalized and also their submission to the respective institutions and MFA as well as their delivery in final form back to the customer.
